Citizens for Responsible Growth of Snohomish County

Mission Citizens for Responsible Growth of Snohomish County is organized to educate the community about local growth issues, promote the protection of the environment and its resources and to promote the sense of community in the Greater Lake Stevens/Snohomish area. The corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, scientific, and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Without limitation of the foregoing, the corporation has the following specific purposes: -To educate the public and public officials about the economic, environmental and fiscal impacts of growth in Snohomish County and in the Lake Stevens Urban growth area. -To gain understanding and share with the public the factual data on which land use decisions are based. -To promote responsible growth in Snohomish County with comprehensive coordinated planning with special attention to land use, transportation, the environment and fiscal impacts -To support and advocate for a citizen voice in land use decision. -To promote full compliance with all laws pertaining to land use and environmental issues -To engage in litigation intended for the accomplishment of the purposes enumerated above. -To promote, support and encourage activities in the community that will be consistent with the above purposes and build community bonds in the process.
